Here's what happened to the HTC Zenith

1) People should really remember what "obsolete" means before using it in their argument/rant

OMG! Thank you so much! Insanely tired of people using the word "obsolete". I very much doubt they know what it means given their usage. I mean the majority of phones out there are Feature Phones. If feature phones still have their use, then by definition
they CANNOT be "obsolete". So how the heck can a single or dual core smartphone be obsolete? Every element of my Palm Centro is still quite usable. While the phone is far from the latest (hardward or software wise), I could still be using it and it would satisfy the vast majority of my needs. In this regard, people should be equally more careful of the use of the words "need" and "want". I don't know too many people who "need" quad core phones dispite how deeply they "want" one.

Obsolete doesn't mean unusable. It means that is no longer supported.

For example Floppy Disk are usable on old computers but not supported on new ones.
You can still buy a SNES and play the games but nobody is making new ones.
First gen Windows Phone devices are obsolete.
