Hotmail Microsoft Account wont update or syn

Not been able to update my Microsoft account on Lumia 820 for over a week. Setting up a second hotmail account with the same email address and passwords and that works fine. Keep getting error code 80C805E2. Any ideas how I can fix this. Was a problem before Amber update and not fixed after it.

Thanks for the suggestions I turned off the SMS backup and it worked no problem after that. Is annoying thought that its MS systems that messing it up not a third party app.

It could be a temporary outage, not something that happens everytime
