How do I get my phone off of Airplane Mode?

Phone is stuck on Airplane Mode !! please help

I have tried both hard and soft reset but to no effect.
I'm currently running windows phone 8.1 on my HTC 8S through developers preview.
Someone please help me with this .

Reset it back to the non DP. DP is not guaranteed to work. Many people have experienced problems. When the official release came out, those problems were all solved.

You may want to force an update to your phone first before reverting back to an older OS version and effectively wiping out your personal data - who knows by chance this might do the trick: head to Settings > Keyboards > add keyboards, then select any keyboard language that has a file size and the word "download" beside it. Choose something you might find useful, while you're at it. Wait for the download to finish, after which you'll be prompted that an update is ready to be installed. Just proceed with the installation and restart your phone, hoping that this would correct whatever minor errors have been incurred by the DP updates.

If this still doesn't fix the problem, then a Factory Reset for your HTC 8s seems to be your only way. The steps on how to this are in the hyperlink posted.

This is to assume that you've already went to Settings and tried disabling Airplane mode there, rather than just from the notification center (from swiping down your screen). I once couldn't turn off Airplane mode from Notification Center, but going to Settings and turning it off there worked.

Let us know what works.

The phone is a HTC 8S so Nokia Software Recovery Tool won't be of any use.

You are absolutely right, I missed that one! Edited my post to reflect HTC 8s compatible solutions.

I have submitted it in the service centre they'll downgrade it to 8.0 and hopefully it will work .
Anyway Thank you brothers for your advice

Did you take it to htc service center?
I ssuggest you to flash RUU Its easy that's how I downgraded from 8.1

I don't think so I have had this issue for three times once was because of a faulty sim second was for loose sim and third after flashing RUU and that was temporary because of frimware problems that was fixed after an official update
