How slow does your lumia 640XL charge????

My Lumia 640XL takes hours(precisely 2-3hours) to fully charge from 30% to a 100%. I just want to know if that's how it charges or if its the still unstable Win10mob that's causing this..

I have noticed the same thing. It was happening with WP8 as well

This is the case with my 640XL as well. It takes a similar amount of time to charge from 10-15% to 100%.

But this was not originally the case. It used to at least drain slower.

Need to try a reset.

Yes it drains slower... But at least it should charge fast.

It is a big capacity battery without "quick charging" so yeah it feels like it takes ages to charge compared to other non-phablet phones, who will mostl likely have 1800-2000 mAh battery.

Charging time also depends on the output capacity of the charger as well. Check the fine print on the charger to see the output. Maybe its less than 1amp

The stock charger is 750mA . So for the 640XL's 3000mAh battery, it will take some time to charge.
