How to activate Announcing contact name when a incoming call is comming?

I am a Lumia 920 user, how to activate announcing caller name when an incoming call is coming in.

Please help me out. I am using firmware 1308

Hi , go under your settings and scroll and click ease of access .
Once you click on that, scroll and where it says speech for
phone accessibility, turn it on.

Well, I have different question, whenever somebody calls me I can see his pic on screen but when I call someone, pic doesn't appear on screen. Is there any solution ??

If I understand your question, a pic comes up when someone calls but if you call them it just shows the name and number with no pic, right?
I don't think it is an issue, its just the way the phone does it.

OH I'm using 1304,that may be why you can't see it. Wish I could help.

If I understand your question, a pic comes up when someone calls but if you call them it just shows the name and number with no pic, right?
I don't think it is an issue, its just the way the phone does it.

Yeah, it's the issue, well, not annoying or something but it should be there.

i'm on 1308.0002 firmware. Indonesian L920. I can see that option
Maybe bugs in your region firmware?

you should change your regional setting to US and all setting need to show english (United States), after restart you will see the option.

I think we are talking about hands free ar kits. I changed the region to US but it announces the name on the phone. The car it still reads out the number, besides I don't want to hae to change region or have the phone announce names when not connected to the car kit.

On my iPhone I didn't have to do anything. It just downloaded my phone book to the car kit. Does WP8 not do this?

If you don't have that option, it is not available on your region. The speech engine probably doesn't support all regions or languages.

Two different things. Most car kit needs phone book to announce names. From my experience, the WP7/8 phones aren't very good at exchange phone book entries.

To confuse matters the car kit will announce a name when I get a text and will even give me the option to dictate a reply. So it as access to the phone book.

that could be the wp function rather than car kit.

In ease of access there is the bottom most option TTY/TDD I think swithcing it on announces names of callers
