How to disable Email sync (POP account)

Hi,

I have a 950 XL and just upgraded to the .36 Version of Windows 10 mobile. I like the phone very much, but there is one Thing that really bothers me. When I delete an Email from my phone, the Email is also erased from the Email Server, my Desktop Email application will not get the Mail. I tried to configure the POP Account, but if I disable the "sync option" Email slider (I don't know what this option is called in the English language Windows 10 mobile version, I use the German language version) in the Settings menue and save it, it just doesen't work.

Any help would be very much appreciated,
