Lumia 1520:

- Smaller body / better ergonomics / same huge *ss screen
- Top-notch specs
- Showstopper display
- Profit!

Lumia 1320:

- Smaller screen that above
- Cheaper build
- Update the CPU (SD6xx line) and put 2Gb ram
- Huge battery
- Profit!

Lumia 1020:

- Badass camera (updated everything)
- 8 core CPU for badass pictures processing speeds
- Crazy slow, slow-motion :p
- Bigger screen/smaller body (to showcase each photo/video taken)
- Profit!

Lumia 930:

- Release a cheaper 9xx (935?) with same hardware, plastic body, bigger battery (like Apple did with IPhone 5c)
- Release the true successor of 930 with better everything
- Profit!

Lumia 830:

- Update the CPU (SD6xx line) and put 2Gb ram
- Slightly change the body (already gorgeous)
- Profit!

Lumia 730:

- Update the CPU (SD410?)
- Settle body changes/ smaller dimensions, same screen
- Don't call it selfie phone
- Profit!

Lumia 630:

- Flash
- 1Gb ram
- Same dirt cheap price
- Not silly wedged design (ever again)
- Profit!

That's it peeps, 8 phones to rule them all. Nothing more, nothing less.

8 phones are not needed.

Make a good line up of 5-6 phones with competitive specs. Get rid of the confusing number system. Make the phones worldwide. Price them aggressively. Market the things properly. Get developers on board.

Having too many phones and having the issues with carrier specifics has been part of the issue. I don't want to see MS continue the Nokia model. It doesn't work.

8 phones can work well if they're done well.
Keep the logical number system. Keep carrier exclusives to a minimum, both with carrier variants and just exclusive standard models.

Honestly, its not as simple as "just do x, y, z and watch the money flow in!"
Reality can strike, etc. Changing the 630's design probably isn't going to affect it majorly. I personally like the design.

Anyone can put together a wishlist, but execution... kinda hard.
