How to manually force updates

I have the Expansys RM-1113 640 on T-mobile (which obviously isn't supporting it yet).

How can I force the recent updates to come through, as they aren't coming via the "check for updates" interface?

outside of enrolling in preview for developers or insider programs, not that I'm aware of.

I was going to do that as I was already enrolled ,in that, but I don't want windows 10 yet. Will it install that by default?

With some phones it does go straight to 10, others it goes to GDR2 as an interim step. Not sure what the 640 would do...maybe someone's tried it and can chime in.

Pretty sure you'll eventually need to either do a hard reset or go to 10080 when or if 10136 comes out this coming week.
