How to prevent my Surface Book's screen from dimming when charging and playing games?

I'm having an issue with my Surface Book. When my laptop is being charged and I open Asphalt 9 or Fortnite the screen dims down automatically. This only happens when I open these games otherwise the screen is bright when it's getting charged. Also the adaptive brightness thingy is disabled so this shouldn't happen but it does. Any suggestions?

Never heard about this behaviour.
If automatic brightness is disabled something isn't going on well.
It should keep the same brightness.
