Given that I have a water damaged brick of a device I thought I'd add one more image to the gallery here.

Hi, I'm trying to take off the back cover but it seems like sticked on corners (left side, top and bottom). Is there an adhesive or snap? I found 5 snaps along the left side but the corners prevent me from opening it. Shall i just rip it off?
This case is very urgent for me as I'm fixing my friends phone.

Has anyone had any luck repairing the screen on their own? I am wondering which would be the better purchase, the digitizer, lcd, and housing (New HTC Windows Phone 8x LTE Verizon ADR6990 LCD Touch Digitizer Assembly | eBay) or just the digitizer and the lcd (LCD Display Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly for HTC Windows Phone 8x ADR6990 | eBay) where I would have to remove the screen from the housing, and reattach it. Any insight from those that have had this phone opened before?

Yeah, all the research I put into this made me too nervous to try it, and I work in a repair shop. I lucked out and got another one for cheap, and am just going to sell this one with the cracked glass.

I did this repair the other week; it was pretty miserable, and wouldn't recommend it.

However, I made it even worse for myself and didn't pay attention to where the wires that you have to remove re-attach. I've got the three of them put on where I think they go, but now my LTE data connection doesn't work, even though it sees the signal. Anyone have pictures of a Verizon 8X opened up so I can put these things in the correct orientation?
