I have to ask... what makes it an 'Irish bar'...

Irish born staff and or owners, the Irish flag hung up outside the establishment, some Irish beers, Irish based cuisine or twist on cooking...that sort of typical stuff...

Sounds Irish. Was just curious. The meal you were eating didn't remind me of typical Irish fare. (Pubs over here do similar, though Mexican is still newish)

I was only curious because over here there's been sort of a revival of traditional 'British' food. Modernized, but of course the question should be asked, what is British food. The Brits have stolen food ideas for centuries then claim it their own.

So I made some buns yesterday. I'm still working on this. Was great for lunch. A bit big but I'm working on that.

Spicy Cole slaw, veggie quesadilla with salsa for lunch a few days ago.

Breakfast today - coffee and arroz con leche.

Lunch today - black bean, portabella mushroom quesadilla, rice with guacamole, spicy salsa, toffee cookie and iced green tea with vegetable barley soup.

Too much meat and noodles etc so a nice heaping helping of fruits on shaved ice, and a bowl of herbal jelly.. Excellent for hot days
