I Am Hungry! - Post Your Eats!

OK. If you have any sites or specific cookbook titles you can share, I'm sure we all would appreciate it. :)

Not meaning to sound lazy. Ha ha
I'm going to do some research on my own, too. :)

This is a fairly good list of books:

10 best vegan cookbooks | Food & Drink | Extras | The Independent

and here:

Top 10 Vegan Cookbooks | Vegan Break

Isa also has YouTube videos which I recommend. There's other vegan chefs on there too. Some better than others.

We get a vegan magazine called Vegan Life and there's also Vegan Food and Living.

For online we typically think of something we'd like to make and search for it. There's a very large community out there now.

I'd also recommend looking up Aquafaba. It's basically an egg substitute from an odd place. Thing is, it's pretty amazing. Great for desserts.

It's gotten easier to find vegan food products too. Some are better than others of course.

If you have anything in mind I may have a vegan version of it.

Thank you! ^^^^
:)
No worries.

Also for bread / pizza dough making I recommend covering the dough bowl with plastic wrap or even better is a shower cap, like you find in a hotel. It helps the dough rise quicker and stops it from developing a layer.

I have other tips for dough if you're interested. I make my own baguettes and other loaves.

Always use bread flour and recommend getting a good digital scale.

Went totally veggie last night for dinner. I was hungry again about 45 minutes later, but I put up a good fight and didn't go grazing through the fridge afterwards. :D

Sahib, this maybe something more your style.

These are gyros (pronounced hyros) pork in a pita wrap with chips, salad and tsziki sauce.
