I can't take photos or videos on my Nokia lumia 520

When i tap the screen in the camera app nothing happens and when i try using the button to take a photo it will focus, but not take the photo, The same occurs when I try to take a video. I have plenty of space on my phone memory and my SD card. How can I fix this?

First, try powering off and then powering back on the device. That will usually fix issues like the one that has presented itself to you. I had to same issue with my 520 once and that was the quick solution.

Please can't snap pictures or even take video any longer using my Nokia Lumia 1520. I still have enough memory space even on my SD card( 64G). Have tried powering off the phone and on back to no avail. what are the possible causes and solutions?

What OS version are you on? Are you running Preview For Developers?

What camera App(s) are you trying to use that fail?

Have you moved any of those Apps to SD card?
