The only reason my wife still hangs on to our iPad is to get updated pics of her nieces and nephews via iCloud photostream. By some chance, has anyone successfully installed this on your Surface RT/2 or is iCloud only an x86 program on Windows? If she could get her photostream on an RT device I would buy her one.

There still doesn't seem to be an app for the icloud control panel. According to a Microsoft forum you need that. No word if one is in the works or not.

Have you tried going to iCloud.Com?

Also, if you have another PC around that is also in use, you could set the iCloud local folder to be under your Skydrive pictures folder. The Surface can sync easily from there. I have done it with an iPhone.
