Icon missing after transferring app from sd card [Lumia 950XL]

I accidentally had new apps set to sd card. When I transferred them to the device, the icon went missing. It is a grey square now in both the apps list and start page. I found a thread where this happened to a built in app, but this is a store installed app. I know I can just uninstall and reinstall, but is there another way? Combined, the apps are several gig, and I am reaching my download limit.
