IE back button not working properly

Since last week, when I open a new tab, and press the back button without switching to another app or doing anything else outside IE, it just switches to the first tab and I have to close every tab manually. Wasn't like this before, tried a soft reset and no luck. Any ideas why?

If I understand you correctly, you're saying that if you start ie (with no other apps open), and open a new (2nd) tab and press the back button it goes back to the 1st opened tab.

if so, that's exactly how it always work. not getting what you're saying.

Eh, guess I didn't say it clearly. It goes back to the first opened tab without closing the second tab, so I have to go to the tabs menu to close each tab manually every time. Before last week, it always closed it before going back to the first tab. Same goes for more than 2 tabs.

Yep pressing back button does bot close the tab. U need to close out in tabs menu
