i have a UHS/class10 32 gig micro sd, do i put the sd card in at first boot-up of phone or do i boot it with no card in? i remember seeing a thread saying something but i dont remember where, thanks

I got an unlocked one and I put the sim and sd card in before the first initial boot. No issues as far as I can see. It took some time for the phone to sort what was what but it did finish and all is well.

10 bucks for the sim, 25 for activation like 330 bucks out the door for the 1320 with first months 50 plan, the phone and the activation

You can buy the 1320 direct from Newegg for a slightly cheaper price and even with SIM and activation come out ahead I think. Also the Newegg version is unlocked international variant, will work on any GSM carrier and get LTE on TMO as well. The non TMO version is $270 at Expansys USA.

at newegg i applied the code and was 291 shipped so with 50 buck plan comes out to like 341, so actualy cricket is slightly cheaper

Yes but not unlocked. I prefer my devices unlocked since I travel overseas quite a bit. If that is not an issue by all means get the Cricket version. And actually Cricket is only $180 right now with their $50 mail in rebate.

to find out the exact model you go to settings, extras and info, more info and you will see which model exactly under manufacturer.

says RM-995_nam_att_958, so there is a RM-955 cyan relase if so, to install it do i need to get my APN settings to copy to it?

You can use Ringtone maker to make your ringtone from your existing mp3 music files. Once you save the created tone, it gets saved to the Ringtone folder of the phone memory. Then go to settings --> ringtones and scroll right till the top and you will find it there.
