Instagram notifications

I need to ask a question regarding Instagram on WP. I just returned to WP after a break on the dark side of Android. I got a new Lumia 1520 for ?366 off Amazon Anyway,started using Instagram which is all great except notifications. What is annoying is i want to be notified of likes and comments etc but not audibly. Like on Android comments or likes would appear but there is no sound. On WP you have to turn off all notifications you cannot just turn off the notification sound. Is there anyway around this?? Thanks

Not as of yet... But with wp 8.1 you might get sth like this

I believe that this will change when WP8.1 is available. If you register for a free AppStudio account and get the Developers Preview next week, you'll be able to find out. http://forums.windowscentral.com/pr...-read-first-post-before-asking-questions.html

It can stay open until WP8.1 Preview is released, in order to verify the results.
