I have a Lumia 640XL LTE with Windows 10 Mobile Version 1607 Build 10.0.14393.576
I have 2 SIMs installed and hence I have 2 SMS messaging "streams"
I moved my existing SIM1 to the SIM2 slot and installed a new SIM (different network) in slot 1
I thought the messages would be stored with the SIM and would move across automatically. Not so.
Problem: the "Contacts + Message" backup utility (under the "Extras" sub menu within "Settings") does not have any granularity and it appears you can't save the message streams separately. All that it offers is to backup and restore to/from a selected file destination. (I chose my SD Card).
So, anybody got any ideas or knowledge as to how / if it is possible to move messages between the two SIMs?
