is my memory card corrupt?

i have lumia 730 with samsung 32gb class 10 mem card
whenever i take a photo it doesn't show up in the memory card.
sometimes if i download a pic from whatsapp then still it doesnt show up in gallery...
is it the device problem or memory card? and how can i solve it....?

Are you sure you're storing it in the memory card and not in the device memory?

Try connecting your SD Card directly to your PC (use an adaptor if needed); if your card has corrupt sectors, you will be prompted to scan and fix your SD Card. Alternatively, you can go ahead and check for corrupt sectors in case you weren't prompted to using command prompt and typing in "chkdsk :X/" where "X" is the drive letter of your SD card once it's connected.

Another way is to simply eject your SD card from your phone and then (after 30 seconds) insert it back in - your phone would normally attempt to scan for and repair bad sectors through this method.
