Is the graphic card driver installed?

I bought SB 8/256 GTX950M and have used windows update. Everything's installed but my graphic card seems not working. I can see 2 drivers on device manager, hd graphic 520 and nvidia geforce gpu.

A simple game like Hearthstone lags like 15-20 fps. My crappy pc runs smoothly.

First and foremost, welcome to Windows Central!

First, I would need you to go to the Windows Search bar and search for "System Information" then click "Display" under the "Components" section.

From here it should show that your SB can actually see the 950M on the right side near the top. It should say something like "NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 950M"

If it sees the GPU just fine then go to Nvidia's website and download the correct drivers that match your GPU

Edited: I'm not sure why the drivers weren't installed in the first place, that's a bit odd if you ask me...

Sometimes, even with the drivers installed properly, you might have to configure the switching behaviour.
