Is there any way to download songs directly from browser in WP 8.1 dev preview?

I'm using a Lumia 520..i was wondering if MS introduced anyway to download songs in o it's new WP iteration

Yes...u can now directly download songs from internet explorer 11....

Yes you can. Clicking the download link gives you the option to save. It gets saved in the downloads folder

Downloads are well supported for individual document, music and video files - e.g. a downloaded .mp3 file will be saved to the Music folder in the same folder as Xbox store music, an .mp4 video will be saved to the Video folder etc. They will then appear in the relevant Music or Video hub, which is cool.

Other filetypes like archives (.zip or .rar) are saved to the Downloads folder. Currently this aspect is not used to the full potential, as if I download a .zip file to Downloads I cannot currently unzip it. Hopefully a developer will create an app that does this - when that happens then coupled with Pocket Explorer we will have the perfect package for managing files on the go.

Yes!! you can download songs from downloading sites. Mp3skoll.net, Clearpost.in, Downloadming.nu, Songspk.cc, Mp3skull.com etc are many more sites that offers free download. You can give them a try.

Use UC browser. D best ever browser to download any thing(audio,video, documents etc) IMO

UC browser will give the progress of downloading content(means downloaded size/Total Size and Downloading Speed) and also providing inbuilt batter saver in APP itself...

Use UCbrowser and with the upcoming update we will be getting direct option to save downloads to sdcard
