It's never too late to think of Threshold or whatever you want to call it

My first question is as follows
Does the release of WP Threshold next year mark the end of the long wait to witness the "three screens" vision that Microsoft promised us ?? or is it still a few years away ??
Secondly, What do you peeps think that Microsoft could possibly add to 8.1 ???
