I would like to join because I'm a newbie and have only published one app to the WP store and that too made on Appstudio. I don't think its even worth mentioning here. Just for elaborating my point, it only got 550+ downloads in my first 6 months which has made me less enthusiastic than I was before. I'd like to rekindle my passion in developing by learning how to actually develop, where can I find the best resources for developing, where are the best tutorials, where is the place to advertise, developer success stories and things like that.I'm not looking for making money on apps or just getting more apps and downloads on the store,I actually want to learn from successful developers and also learn a bit about coding as well. :)
And now with the yearly renewal fees for developers removed, this could help me in the long term as well :)

I am a beginner developer and I'm learning WP coding and I am developing a few apps currently. Some of them are : MickPhone OS, MickNews.,
MickOffice, MickPeople, MickTube; etc. Also I'm making a cool phone concept which I'll sugest for MS, hear this : I'm thinking real high end transparent smartphone, PureView rear cam, dual front cam, but the second front cam we'll be used for making the holographic projection; which opens swipe up from the bottom and get it and the screen can be resizable. Also add to it smartwatch, and here you go. I'll make apps as Mick Corp. and it would be real huge for me, because I'm a young child developer.

I'm totally a newbie at developing but I'd like to extend my knowledge and to start developing apps for WP. I only have a minor knowledge about C++ but that's not enough to develop an app. So far I haven't developed any app but I think that wouldn't be a problem to join this program since I like to get started and learn something about developing apps and games.

I have been developing Windows Store Apps since Windows 8 was released in 2012 and couple of my apps (Meme-Generator and Elements: The Periodic Table) have been popular with the users in the Store.

I started with the Windows Phone development this March and have 6 apps on the Windows Phone Store. It would be great to interact with the fellow developer community and getting featured on WPCentral.

Windows Phone Apps:

Periodic Table
DoF Calculator™
EMI Calculator™
Unit Converter™

Windows Phone Games:

Football Players Quiz
Flagz

I'm a part time developer. I chose this route bc 1) I want to see the WP platform succeed. 2) There are some apps I would like to see, but no one has quite nailed it. I figure I could learn how to dev and create my own apps. I'm not worried about making money, I just want to have apps that work the way I want them to work.

I'd also like to join. Why? Why not? I'm an experienced software developer, teacher and consultant, with limited ability to develop WP apps in my free time, but I still hope to get around to publishing one someday. I just have other private projects to complete first.

Hello everyone,
I am a C++ WinApi Programmer but i think its time that I move toward developing apps for Windows phone and Windows 8. I have been working to get everything in motion and I should have my first app out in about 2 months.
In the past I was big with Android, mostly rooting and modifying the ROM. After I decided to make my move to Windows Phone I was shocked at the Quality of the Apps. There isn't even a great Video Player or Music Player in the App store. There are about 10 apps that I had on Android that i don't have on Windows so i decided to start writing.
I would love to be in you Developer Program, being able to group with others never hurts.

Hello!

Being part of the program would be great.

The most popular app that I can share with WPC is iFunny, which is in the top 10 of Best Rated Entertainment apps, as well as the top 10 of the Top Free Entertainment apps. We've recently updated iFunny with even more funny pic feeds, and now sport more than 300 new LOLs every day. Browse through popular, comment on, and share (facebook, twitter, sms, email) your favorites with anyone and everyone. Works on WP7, WP8, and WP8.1 for all your time-wasting needs. With over 31,000 reviews, and a 4.6+ average, you know it's gotta be good. But it's better than that... It is. so. amaze.

Being part of the program would be awesome, to share tips, help cross promote, and get a better understanding of how to monetize apps on the Windows Phone platform (ad providers to use, etc.)

Cheers!

Hi....... I am from India and new to app development. Currently, I have not created any app. I really want to be a part of your development program. I just love your website because it has teached me how to use my Lumia like a pro. By joining your development program, I would like to help others and also learn many more things from other developers on developing of apps. I would be grateful if you add me into your development program.

Thanks 😉

This is a great idea!

I'm very much a newbie. I released an app called Mixing Basics in the Windows Phone Store, but that was done using the App Studio site... it didn't really turn out as well as I would have liked. Still, over the past year I've been slowly teaching myself C# and XAML, and hopefully I'll be able to have a decent grasp on things by the time Threshold arrives... I'm really excited at the whole Universal Apps thing. I'm a musician first and foremost, so my programming education is going to be with a focus on getting out quality, beautifully designed apps out for fellow musicians!

Hey guys, My name is Rafael and i am a Windows Phone developer from Australia. I am working on a couple of apps for the Windows Phone and Windows RT platform utilizing the new Universal apps templates from Microsoft. I would like to join this program because it could help the Australian people find my app which is aimed at helping the new drivers get their L license. I saw many apps on android and iOS that simulates the driving test, however the NSW RTA will not make an app for Windows RT or Windows Phone so i am doing this to help the people.
I am looking for help in making my app reach as many users as possible and also some tips in UI design (I am a programmer, i can code, i can't draw LOL)

Thank you WPCentral for this great chance you are giving the WP developers all around the world.

Rafael

Hi! I'm new to Windows Phone developing, but have quite a lot of experience in other platforms - especially desktop Windows and SQL managing. Now I'm starting with some small, but very fresh and inspiring apps for WP which I think will make usage of this platform more enjoyable and faster. Joining the community would help me overcome first obstacles but I would like to contribute with my ideas and general experience.

I published my first game Food Fights in April. I saw some good amount of daily installs for quite a good time thanks to marketplace promotions by Microsoft. But since then, it has slowed down. I don't have any strong monetization added in my app. I just want good userbase and reviews so that I can improve the game.

I'll be updating my game soon and I'm also working on another game which I wish to publish on WP first then PC and xbox.

I'd like to join! :)

Hi, I'd like to join as well.

I only have one app in the store at present which is Goal Centre. I've just broken through the 100,000 downloads barrier and it's in the top 55 best rated apps in the UK.

I'm currently working on a WP8.1/W8.1 universal version.

Cheers,

Stu

I would like to join too. I have a few published apps and a game in the store, but the reason I would like to join is to provide help. I have many years of experience in software development. I personally have very little time to write many apps myself because of my study, but I would like to help others with their apps.
