On most 7 and 8 inch tablets ( at least on mine), built in are micro HDMI and micro USB....

Is there any reason like USB, the micro HDMI could not run 2 ways....signal in and out based off use????

Short of that, my idea was to find a cheap Droid tablet with both miro USB/HDMI and hack it into a display only for Continuum....my friend at work said he could solder up what ever I need.....just need to let him know what to solder.

So the tablet would be Disply/Battery for a phone......now I wonder if I can make it look good and not have it look like a tangle of wire.....

So I stumbled upon this looking for a cheep way to display Continuum

Lilliput 7-inch LCD On Camera Field Monitor w/ HDMI in
Sell_Lilliput_7_inch_LCD.jpg

Photographers use it as a way to better view DSLR on a shoot.....looks to have more uses and can support up to 1920 x 1080 :)

I'll have to check out some tablets. I kept this on my amazon list just I case I wanted a bigger cheap screen : http://a.co/gcwlxuP
15.6", but only 1366x768 resolution. HDMI plugs into it. $199.

Nice !!! Thank you for the link, I also saw they have a 13" 1080 ....but on a youtube review the 15.6 can do 1080 also under Windows....makes me wonder if we lucked out and under Windows Mobile it can push the 1080.
