Keyboard on Android Marshmallow

Switched from WP8.1 to Android Marshmallow with my band. But the keyboard is missing now. I can only use the generic replies to texts.

Has anyone else had this problem or found a work-around?

I did a hard-reset on the band, re-connected to my Lumia 640 and the keyboard came back. Deleted the band from the 640, reinstalled Microsoft Health on the Android.... and still no keyboard.

Of course, now I've spent more time trying to get the keyboard back on the band than I have actually used the keyboard on the band... but now it's almost a personal challenge.

Try the hard reset again but pair with the android first. See if that works

Oh, I tried that a few times. I just went back to the 640 to make sure somehow I didn't roll back to an old firmware or something on the band.
