"Kinect is unplugged" Issue

I've had my Xbox One a couple days and its been working great until just now. All of a sudden the Kinect stopped working and it now says "Kinect is unplugged", despite being plugged in. I hadn't moved it or touched it, it was just sitting there. Restarting, unplugging and replugging, etc so far have not worked. Anyone else ran into this and been able to fix it?

Update: Just got off the phone with Microsoft support. Looks like the solution is for them to send out a new Kinect.

This is a bit of a problem. Did they say there was a specific problem with the Kinect or just 'we'll replace it'?

Not sure if mine works or not, still sitting in the box because the cable is too short to use...

They didn't say what the problem was, although from the searching I did it seems like I was far from the only one it has happened to. Hopefully it doesn't become too widespread.
