[L640XL] How does this phone compare to the L925?

The 925 shoots a pretty flat picture. Not as contrasty and flatter color profile. The iPhone seems to expose to preserve highlights. The 640 shoots a bit contrasty and doesn't protect highlights as well as the iPhone. Shooting raw with the 640 will give you better images than jpeg on the iPhone.

Kinda the whole point of the 640XL is that you don't have to agonize (too much) over it, since the price points especially compared to the iPhone 6+ are vastly different (close to $200 versus close to $800). If you don't like it, you could always sell it and not lose too much. For basic tasks you mentioned, the 640XL should be sufficient, although the Wordflow keyboard could be more accurate and IE could be faster, maybe Windows 10 will improve both, hopefully.

Windows 10 runs by far faster on the 640XL then the 925, night and day.

Definitely need an SD card for the 640XL, but other than that... Loving mine.

Battery Life!!!!!!

I met with my sister this evening who is using 640XL Dual Sim

I open up her battery saver...and wtf... Her last charge was 2 days ago and still have 35% battery left, estimated 13 hours left, most importantly BATTERY SAVER IS "OFF"
I think the phone can last for 3 days without the need of re charge
Note: My sister is quite a lite user, a non-gamer , but actively use social apps...

My 925 barely last a day..T.T...but still a great looking and solid phone

Battery life was one of the things which attracted me to he 640 XL. I don't normally game on my phone, but I do use it for both work and personal e-mail, social media, music while at the gym, and some lite web surfing and I would consider myself lucky if I made it through a day on a charge with my 925.
