Latest Samsung Ativ S firmware updates

Microsoft makes the recovery tool. For them to add the Ativ there would need to be cooperation been them and Samsung. Samsung could argue why do they need to help when they already have their own recovery tool.

Cooperation been them and Samsung well they have OS WP is one of them.
So samsung have there own recovery tool for ATIV S?
I just ask Samsung Sweden support about that and they said no they dont have any tool, so can you give me a link to that tool please?

Go to post 1 in this thread. The tools are there including the CSC & Firmware binaries.

Well i done that.
I flashed my PH with 8.10.14203.306 (2424.15.3.2) for Ativ S.
But it still would NOT update to the 8.10.14219.341 its say have allready the latest
So am looking for 8.10.15116.125 and above files.

The OS version that you are after has not been released by Samsung IIRC. You may get the version that you are after using the insider or preview for developers apps

pege63, I don't want to be rude, but it would be nice if you do some reading first and than start asking questions. I don't think anybody remembers what they wrote 2 or 3 months ago, also many of the ATIV S users from this thread already moved on with new phones.

I done that and if YOU read my post i aksed "if there is a easier way to do it" beside the REG option that was from 04-24-2015 i in my madness thought we got past that and there was an "easier way" to do it this days.

Don't use my method, if you model already have 8.10.14226 or 8.10.14234. Simply install Windows Insider and get your Update 2. Am not so its OK

All actions I performed under "sterile conditions" (I flashed my phone CMJ1 with ATO CSC and downloaded all latest updates with new firmware).

I recommend you at first do this*:
1. Flash CMJ1 with ATO CSC.
2. Install all latest updates (14157 with 2424.15.3.2 f/w).

"Done that i got 8.10.14157.200 with 2424.15.3.2"

* - If you updated the you phone to 14219 using Windows Insider - it's necessary!

Windows Insider after activating makes permanent changes to the system. So only hard reset or flash will help you. If you are not sure whether you can flash you phone - try at first simple hard reset.

NO RECOVERY TOOL for Ativ S (only LUMIA)

You can update to WP10 if you want - just edit the registry keys

In .zip file is included .csc and .wp8 that i know but one question, what csc code is included ( ato,nee or some others)?

I'm not sure, but if you open both of files with WP8 Binary downloader, there you can see included csc codes.

On Polish site i see they have a WINDOWS PHONE 8.1 GDR2, is that something you heard about?
But during the night to Saturday my computers updates the Win10 to the most recent update and all my web history disappeared with it, so I can not find the link there where it was. I was busy with the TV report from Paris all night long.

I dont know all webbhistory is gone and i run to the TV when i heard about Paris and in the morning have my laptop restartetd sevral times. So i cant say but i was a link to "WINDOWS PHONE 8.1 GDR2" but i never klicked on it i saved that to later. So i cant say if it was for Ativa S or Nokia, i just ask you if you know about a 8.1 GDR2?

I think there is no 8.1 GDR2 firmware for ATIV S. Samsung even didn't push it over OTA.
