Latest updates for stream 7

I haven't used my tablet for awhile so I caught up on a lot of updates. I'm still on 8.1. Now I've noticed changes, specifically in the keyboard. The full, PC type keyboard is not available, and the split keyboard has options for small, medium, large, but all but small are greyed out. Every time I tap a key, I get the round blue loading circle. Any solutions?

Did you ever get an answer to this? I just bought a Stream and have the same issue.

Got rid of the stream but have the same issue with it's replacement
