launcher 7 has over 1,000,000 downloads and 5 star reviews

This is a really silly discussion. Android users have the option of trying out different launchers, so they do. I know I do.
Want an iPhone? Download Espier.
Want WP7? Download Launcher 7.
Never mind Go Launcher, ADW, LPro, et al. Those three have installs somewhere in the 5-10 million and 10-50 million range, and now we have new options in Nova Launcher etc.

Interest in a WP7 launcher in no way necessarily indicates interest in WP7, and even if it did, 1 million installs in the Android world is nothing when you're selling 36 million devices a quarter.

Exactly man...

Sometimes the mindblowing idiocy on these forums is too much for me.

You can make excuses all you like, but until the OS sorts some stuff out it is never going to catch on. A lot of people like metro ui but also care about apps and games, customization and being able to do little stuff like change separate volumes? Cmon..

With launcher 7 you can change the color of individual tiles, etc.

wp7 had a lot of maturing to do before you'll sway most users. I left Android for a short while then came back. A smooth ui and fancy animations don't cut it after about a week once you realize how much else is missing

If you are a Verizon or Sprint Android phone sold a measure of CR * pton, can not easily break your contract or do not want to leave AT & T, in order to get a decent WP7 phone, and then of WP7 ISN "real choice.
