Leaving insider program on my Surface 3, how to downgrade?

Do I need to make a bootable flash drive? Or Creation tool only is enough? ++ for drivers should I download them from the web?

Hi ! Here's a link from Windows Central. See if this is what you need! It's always a good idea to down load the drivers before a big change. Especially your network driver! I always create a back up image before doing a major chance! That way I can always roll back! Good luck.:smile: Let us know how it goes!

Hi I didn't see any thing in that link about a clean install. I have never been a insider and so I have no experience with this procedure!

No, you will need to do a clean install if you want to downgrade. And like holdum said, it is always better to download the drivers and keep them aside before doing a clean install.

Hi @ shmsnh Thanks for joining this thread! Team work is always good. I have never been a insider!:wink: Creating a back up image would also be a good thing.
Having a image of your OS can make you fearless!:smile: Knowing you can always get back to where you were is a good feeling. I have at least 6 images on a external drive created with Macrium Reflect!
