Just a typo, I don't need the entire firmware, just the baseband, like they do with the iPhone and iPad, you can install iPad's baseband on the iPhone, now how cool is that.

And since this are simply 2 phones from the same manufacturer it should be feasible, WP needs a bit more time with hackers before we start doing such things

That is locked down to certs on Windows Phone.... Look over at XDA, if they have been able to buy pass this, we would have plenty of custom roms and none of them currently exist for Windows Phone 8+ (yes, there was plenty for WP7).

I understand what your looking for but, right now, it's impossible with Windows phone...even if so, you take a risk on bricking your device even if you could do what you want to do..

Would love to see custom roms for WP, no question, lots of fun stuff you can do with it....still nothing, years later.

The irony here is that just shows you how secure WP8.x OS is as compared to Android and even iOS.
