Location Info - Instagram, Facebook & 6tag

So, this isn't specific to my Lumia 920 (at least I don't think it is) ... whenever I upload a picture to Facebook, Instagram or 6tag and try to tag the location, the only options/suggestions I ever get are places around me wherever I might be at that moment (which is usually at home to upload on wi-fi). Is this just me?? I have geotagging on and I can't find any other settings that might affect that. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions???

That's unusual. However, I usually don't do geotagging except with Foursquare, and that is when I'm actually at those places, not at home.
