Lost data

I found my lost documents, photos, music, etc. last night after upgrading from w7 to w10 under my name in This PC. I dragged and dropped them to their respective folders in the quick access area of Windows 10. I thought I have solved my problem, but when I opened this morning my computer, all the data in the quick access have disappeared. Now, I am trying to search for them again, but to no avail. Fortunately for My Pictures folder I duplicated it by chance, and I deleted it. I was able to restore it from the recycle bin. So where are the other data.
