low volume alarm clock

No matter how high I put my volume settings, the alarm volume is very low when,it goes off. I tried, as suggested here, removing and replacing the alarms but it did not help. I have a new Lumia 930 which came with the wp8.1 on it. Please help!

Just a thought, are you leaving the phone lying on its back? I have noticed that when I do that with mine, the speaker outlet is covered up and it makes many of the tones hard to hear. Especially if the surface it's lying on is soft. I now find a way to leave mine overhanging slightly when I lay it face up, just so the speaker isn't covered up.

Yes, same issue. Slept through it a few times. Definitely a lot quieter than my L1020. Yes, it helps to put the phone on it's front, but not a lot.

Yes I have noticed that and have kept the speaker clear. It did not help, I choose a different ringtone which I can hear better but it is still not loud. I even tried a soft reset and wpsupport says that a hard reseg willnot help. I should check if new lumia 930 in shops have the same deffect and if not then swap if that is stil an option.
I think that Microsoft should send out an update for this issue because the alarm volume can't be changed in any way.
Any other suggestions are more then welcome.

I have the Lumia 930 as well, and the alarm clock is very weak even if I put all volume to the max.

Anyone have an idea? (WP 8.1 + Dev Preview)

Thanks

Hey, my girlfriend has the L930 since yesterday and she's having the same issue. The ringtone seems to be very loud on 10/10, I think its similar to her older 920 or my 1020. But only the alarm tone is very quiet.

So that it seems to be a software issue, I think we will definetely get an update to fix this. I hope soon, shouldn't be that hard to fix.. Until that she uses the 920 as an alarm
