Hello everyone. I currently use both a 1320 and a 1520 on AT&T. I love both of the phones, and they work perfectly (aside from the 1520 touch and screen dimming issues). When I have both phones on and side by side, the 1320's screen is a lot brighter than my 1520's screen. The 1520 is bright and the colors are...I'm not exactly sure how to best describe them...I guess warmer or richer. The 1320's colors are just really vibrant. Even at night when both phones are in night time glance mode (green colored font), the 1320 is extremely bright compared to the 1520's fairly dim glance display. Should this be expected? I was just under the impression that the higher specs of the 1520 would pretty much ensure a better display screen. Thoughts?

I've attached two images. In each one, the 1320 is on the left and the 1520 is on the right. Notice the brighter 1320 screen.WP_20140315_003.jpgWP_20140315_002.jpg

Thanks for responding.
So, by looking at my pictures, do you think something is wrong? Should the 1520 be brighter in your opinion?

Your guess is as good as mine.
It looks indeed darker
But maybe we should swapp devices ;-) ( i think mine is to bright for my eyes, so i have it mostly on the darkest settings ).
I thought that the screens where almost the same, only the ppi and the mp where less.
But if you don't trust it, go to a servicepoint to compare it with a other 1520 ( or with someone else you know ).

The glance on my 1520 is exactly the same, very dim compared to my old 925 (which is understandable considering that is an amoled display).

Ok. Great. That's what I was hoping somebody could explain to me...it has to do with the type of display. Thank you.

So, no swapp ? :( hahaha

wel that's a plausible explanation.
you can always compare with a other phone when you're nearby a shop.

I still plan to take it by the AT&T store here and compare my 1520's screen with another one...just to see. In the back of my head though, I was thinking there was something involved regarding the types of displays each phone uses.
