So my sister's Lumia 620 bricked again while trying to update to Lumia Cyan. Previously I tried with 8.1 DP, bricked, brought back to life using Nokia Software Recovery Tool. This time it had official Cyan, thought of trying again, and guess what, it bricked again. But this time Nokia Recovery Tool says it can't restore as there's not enough space on C.. Another 450MB needed on C drive, what to do? Help. 😞

Should of bought an iPhone. We don't have those problems, no wonder WP is doomed.

I think the nokia software recovery tool is referring to the C drive on your PC because it might not have enough space to host the WinPhone8.1 image files.
If you have enought space on your C drive (on your computer of course) then try this

Turn off the phone and plug it in, choose 'My phone doesn;t startup or response' in the main screen of Nokia Software Recovery Tool. and let it downlaod and flash the phone

Hope this helps you

More space needed on C drive because the laptop / PC you have connected is full on C drive. Check that first, make space for about 5 GB and then try the same process.

He can also change when the tool saves the image files by going to settings.

Solved! Apparently you lose a portion of your brain when you start to panic.. I thought it was referring to available space on phone memory LOL
