Well,look at he light around you. If it is sunny make sure the sun is behind you to get good light. and you need steady hands too. also make sure the white balance setting is correct too. am afraid it does depend who is behind the camera as I can make an average camera look good with photos. always hold steady until the photo is taken,people make the mistake of moving away too fast after taking a pic resulting in blur. in low light use the night scene setting too although it may require holding the phone steady on a stable wall etc. also,look at what you can see with your eyes and look at the screen to make sure what you see with your eyes is the same as ons creen ie colours,contrast and brightness. happy snapping.
