Lumia 640 fast battery depletion.

Hi everyone,

I have a Lumia 640 on 8.1 and it depletes a little faster than what I expected. My old Lumia 520 didn't deplete as quickly. I got it about 2 weeks ago.

I use it moderately-- texting, using a couple apps, and browsing the internet but not more for 15 minutes at a time.

I disabled the apps running in the background, brightness on low, glance off, and I even calibrated the battery by depleting fully and recharging it to 100%.

What do I do?

How fast is it depleting?

As I'm using it it will deplete 3% for every minute I'm on it.... Not sure if I'm being paranoid or this is an actual issue.

Exchange it for a new one.

Yes, something very wrong so your only option is to exchange it. With your kind of usage you should be able to get 2-3 days out of it.

Try a hard reset then if it I still no better replace it. That is not even close to being right. The battery stamina on these is only bettered by the 1520 in my experience.
