We need someone with an NA variant to try accessing Field Test (##3282# in the dialer) > Accept > ellipses (...) > Settings > Network Type set this to manual > Tap box under the label: "Supported bands" (and make note if it says "all bands active" or "x/y bands active") > Write down what Bands are in the ROM for GSM/WCDMA/LTE and note which are active OOB and which can be enabled...

Ok, so I got around to doing this, but, in my Field Test, I don't have "Network Type", but I do have "Band Locking". It shows me the supported and active bands, which are as follows:

Band 1
Band 2
Band 3
Band 4
Band 5
Band 7
Band 8
Band 20
Band 28
Band 38
Band 39
Band 40 (was unchecked, but was able to activate it)
Band 41
GSM DCS 1800
E GSM 900
B1-WCDMA 2100
B2-WCDMA 1900
B4-WCDMA US 1700
B5-WCDMA US 850
B8-WCDMA E/J 900

Ok, so I got around to doing this,

Thank you. That's about as definitive as it gets then. Shows what is capable within the ROM. No LTE Band 12 or 17 then. Which is odd because we have lots of that around.

Still works on LTE with band 4 and 7 just not as good at least on Rogers Fido network but it's there.

I work in an old brick and concrete building built in the 60's outside of the city. I get 1 bar of LTE, and my Speedtest.net app still shows 9MB/s download speeds, 1MB/s upload and 150ms ping. If I roll over to my window, I get 2 bars with 15MB down, 3 up, same ping. Can't really complain about that lol
