Save the best for the last? Last but not least ? He who laughs last laughs the loudest ? Better lumia 720 than HTC 8S ? And i still dont know

Got a mail from Nokia today titled "The Lumia Amber update is here." It said in the description, "The Lumia Amber update begins rolling out in August ? you?ll get a notification on your phone when it?s ready to go. The update is currently available for Nokia Lumia 920, 820, 620 and 520. It will soon be available for Nokia Lumia 720 too."

But it gave no concrete date.

PS: I think they've stopped updating the software update support page.

If they give a date, and if they don't roll out the update on that date, WW 3 could start.
Nokia is under MS control now so, umm I donno if MS can access the Nokia website from the inside.

Well Microsoft doesn't own Nokia atleast not until early 2014. The deal is yet to be finalized and besides that Finnish govt has a big say in Nokia. They'll be needing their approval. So you never know what'll happen.

some 15 days back me too got the same mail saying that "The Update is currently available for L920, L820, L620. It will soon be available for L520 and L720." . Now they have included L520 in that list"

Availability in Asia Pacific - Nokia

Check this link. It is available in India for 620. Guess what not even in "Coming Soon" for 720. So bad nokia so bad.

Hi, I'm from Indonesia and I received 16 updates 2 days ago, it seems amber update to me, here's the screen shot



but, I don't see amber feature on my phone, nokia glance, FM radio etc.

or its not amber ?

i own 520 , 720 , 820
820 got update everything is available
520 got 1 update today but i confirm its not amber no features added also version no doesnt match with update version
720 still hope it gets updates but not as 520 nothing new...

i would suggest 625 if u buy now,
and if 720 get used one in india around 12000 rupees
