Lumia 720 Philippine Users

My L720 fell the other day and the screen is badly damaged, the other parts (LCD, gyroscope, etc) are doing fine though. Itatanong ko lang sana kung meron din ba ditong naibagsak ang Lumia nila, at kung magkano ang presyo ng repairs, etc. =)

Try to consider going on Ali Mall where one of nokia care point is located.

hi guys. i was thinking of getting a L720 pero may nababasa ko na bad reviews after the amber update? like the camera quality becoming bad and the battery draining much faster. any users who can confirm that?

nakapag phone update ka na ba? After mo mag update download ka ng system app pusher tapos check for updates tapos update mo yung mga dapat mong i update...

First of all, you don't need to isolate non-Filipinos for your posts. The tech world is very large and full of enthusiasts who will gladly advise you on different aspects of your device, or any device-related topics.

I am from the Philippines too, kababayan, and I had the Lumia 625 before. Black loading screens are normal, but stutters are not. The older GPU's probably the culprit. Lumia 625 sports an Adreno 305 while the Lumia 720 has only Adreno 225, if my memory serves me right.

Next advise is it would be better if you buy from online sellers than from these Nokia outlets around the country since the tax imposed is huge. I bought my Lumia 625 for only P8680. The downside is that there's no warranty for the device (which is like a tool only for giving you peace of mind) and that you should be wary of what version of the device are you buying, since the network bands for your device may not be compatible for the network bands in our country.

Congratulations for being another 'Lumian' and mabuhay!

Hello Kababayans!

Just want to know if it is normal that my lumia 625 is draining battery at a rate of 10%/hr and above?

Mobile Data is always on
Last full charge is 6:55am. And only 20 % left in the evening.
Light to moderate usage only since I'm at work.

A little fb twitter and instagram. Location is turned on for just a minute. I have 50%+ left in 6pm/7pm

Moderate to heavy usage after that.
Below 15mins internet sharing.
Below 8 background task not including the other apps like skype which it is not listed.
Normal or not?

Are you on 4G?

That's normal. You even have a lot of background apps. My old Lumia 625 before can survive two days with battery saver most of the time, browsing during evening and early morning, one hour of video playing at the maximum and 30 minutes playing Dhoom 3 on each day,
There are a lot of power hog apps like Viber which can halve your battery life and even your standby time.

guys are you planning to buy L1520 when it hits the PH ? im planning to get one :) i want the color red same as my 720

I already have one and it's very impressive! :) I knew I would be loving this the first time I touched it. I can manage to have a full day with moderate 3G browsing
(it's a power hog), watching movies, playing music, calling and texting with still 50-60% left in my battery. :) Taking about 30 shots could reduce it to 40% or more.

my L720 fell from my bed on to the floor, and surprised by what happened on my phone, there was a scratch on it like across the screen, and i was thinking what's the sense of corning gorilla glass 2 if my phone got scratch? right? BTW sorry bout your phone dude. hindi ko rin alam kung magkano yung spareparts.hehhehe. share ko lang.

Wala pa sa ibang model... 820 palang ang nakalagay na "available" sa nokia update na website... Sana 720 na ang next... :)

Some Countries have "coming soon" on 620 and 625 so? they skip the 720 or we are the last?? :c

Sa philippines 820 palang naman ang "available"... The rest is "waiting for approval" so far ang hinihintay ko lang sa black update firmware is yung fix sa camera... Na sana meron :)

Why so late? Is it Nokia or Microsoft or whoever will approve the update here in the Philippines? Black update for L625 has been available for days in other countries, sa atin ngayon lang naging coming soon. Pano pa kaya any 720 natin? Ganon ba tayo kabusy kay Vhong Navarro?
