Lumia 800 freezing at startup

Hello,

My Lumia 800 which I've had for about 1.5 years is suddenly not working. yesterday it was not sending any of my SMSs and today I tried to restart it and now it's just freezing at the startup screen which says NOKIA. I can't even restore it to factory settings (i pressed all the 3 side buttons simultaneously but it just shuts it down and then it automatically restarts and freezes again at the same point). I had it plugged in for over an hour so it's not the battery. I kept it on the heater for 10min so that maybe the battery jolts up. Nothing is working.

Any solutions please?

Factory reset is in
SETTINGS >
about
[reset your phone]

Be sure to back things up, but I think a reset restores it to way it came from the factory
so nothing will be restored but back-up anyway.

I did the hold volume + power + camera button
The phone isn't starting up so i can't access anything
It's stuck on the start-up screen that's black and only says NOKIA

I didn't know that was a factory reset

It's reported that it will "unbrick" a Lumia phone and it's doesn't have to the spinning gears just that it's stuck or won't reboot.
