Lumia 800 or 900

I couldn't care less about a FFC. LTE however, I do want as I plan on sticking with my next phone until my next upgrade in late 2013/early 2014. My perfect screen size 4.0". I had a Titan and returned it cause it was way, way to big. My HD7 was borderline too big at 4.3" but I could definitely live with 4.3" again.

All that to say, if they both come to AT&T and only the 900 has LTE, I'll get the 900. If they both have LTE I will hold them both in hand and see which size is better, since neither is my perfect 4.0". I'm open to the 800. If the 900 really doesn't have curved glass AND they introduce an LTE 800 for AT&T, the 800 will win hands down I think.

Yeah, if they put 4.3" with less bezel, then I'd be perfectly happy :D

Either that, or ~4.6-4.7" with 16:9 ratio, which makes the phone as wide as a 800x480 4.3" (reasoning for me is KB size - I found 4.3" 800x480 the only one that gets remotely close to my iPhone typing speeds, others are too narrow or too wide [end up just slathering my fingers over the buttons]).

:)

I think that would be worse to tell you the truth. My main issue with the Titan was its height, not its width.

The curved glass of the 800 potentially being MIA on the 900 is something that may sway me to the lower end device.

hmm.... true, the power button is badly implemented on the Titan. Actually, I have played with the HTC Vivid for a long while, and it's nearly as tall as the Titan, however, it's power button is nearly infinately easier to utilize, yet is still difficult (actually, never have) to accidentally press.

My main issue is that it was hard to use with one hand, especially the upper left corner of the phone. The power button didn't pose many issues to me.

I know what you mean, now :)

Seriously, I've used the Vivid long enough to know a slimmer frame is okay, even with the severe lengths of the Vivid and Titan. Only if the buttons are easy to access. The Vivid's buttons are... seriously, you have to see/use it to know what I mean.

Well, judging by the mock-ups, the best way to see whether you want a 900 is to get an 800 and hold it a bit closer to your face. If you like that size, you're better off with a 900! :)
