lumia 820 cant send sms after portico update

any update regarding the solution of this problem?

I received the OTA today. Phone did it's thing with the cog wheels. I was able to send/receive texts. I should also mention that when I plugged my sim into the phone it automatically detected and was in "Global Mode" not sure if that helps you with anything.

What's "firmware revision number" in settings/about in your phone after update OTA?

i downgraded my lumia 822 and sms was working until i received OTA and updated it check if the problem is solved. unfortunately the problem re appeared so i am downgrading it again. some applications from nokia like playon require newer software otherwise found no differnce so far.

People! Help me! Very need a 1532.2108.1244.0003 firmware for Lumia 822 RED. Navifirm is not working now...

P.S. Concerning SMS - if not to use phone numbers in global format, there is no problem to send them)

Anybody contact Verizon? Only those in U.S region can access their site. I would be great to get some info so I could know if there will ever be a fix

I think, it could be out with 1308 update... But, most probably, Verizon made this "feature" for сunning non-US users)

I don't have a Lumia 822, but has anyone tried changing the Messaging settings? Specifically the ones that say "Send MMS acknowledgement" and "Group text"?

Did you try it? Your reply came up blank.
Hmm... It's strange)) Okey, never mind. So, my previous message was about that - this settings doesn't fix the problem. I think, Verizon made the issue purposely, but it may be just a simple bug that would be fixed with 1308 update.

Thanks for the link. The vpl was complaining about invalid signature when i tried recovery on my nokia suite

I too flashed my lumia 822 using nokia care suit. but after flashing i was only left with 9.89 GB internal free space.:(

To be lucky , I found that the space was been utilized due to USA map is preloaded in the Nokia Maps... which is around 2.5 GB..!!!

you can delete and reclaim your space....:winktongue:
