i download above 11 files . when i start to recovery process it says

C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products\RM-845\555A9A6E_RM845_059P3Z8_1532.2108.1244.0003_251.vpl has invalid signature.


now what i do ....?

Rename files as described:

Note
Files that consists 8-digit hash in beginning of name must be renamed. For example:
34B0B8E8_RM845_059P714_1532.2108.1244.0003_252.vpl
must be renamed to:
RM845_059P714_1532.2108.1244.0003_252.vpl

File names like:
NWP8_simlock_3gstandard_bb5_crcA59A.bin
DC_template_development_v4.bin
040-110668_TYPE_LABEL_Vrzn_RM-845_v3_BLACK.xml
11385701.pcx
leave as is.

but my phone use to hang & freez now after this portico update my phone is stable
but sms & gprs on 2g, 3g is not working as you all said.
can we wait for another update where in this issue will be solved

Hello folks!!! GREEDO_GREEDY here from the Philippines.
I just recently puchased a Nokia Lumia 822 off ebay and installed the .0003 firmware.
I very pleased with the device and the WP8 UI is smooth and classy.

No problems with making and receiving calls and sending and receiving txt messages.
I also get a 3G/H signal, however, I don't seem to get an H+ signal. (I had no problem getting a H+ signal when I tested the lumia 720)

Is the H+/LTE still locked to Verizon?
Also, I noticed that signal quality is only 3 bars most of the time. Could it be my phone? or my service provider?

Hoping for an update that will fix these issues and won't lock the phone.
I really miss uploading full res photos to Skydrive without using a third party app.

Anyone tried the new Access Point update ? There's a warning incuded in it - " SIM locked phones' Access Point won’t work if your phone is locked to a particular operator ".

With updated AccessPoint (3.6.0.20 12/06/2013) app on 1532.5951.1250.1012 firmware MMS and Internet Sharing is working. SMS still broken:angry:

I've followed all the steps up to and including placing the 1532.2108.1244.0003 firmware into the appropriate folder.

After I select "Open Product" the firmware is visible in the properties fields.

However when I select "Recovery" the "start" button remains greyed out; I cannot start the flashing process.

Any ideas/suggestions?

I've been using the 822 in the dominican republic on Orange for 1 month with the latest firmware, from the beginning i was able to send sms but no data, but after yesterday access point update i have full 3G data access.

hello. i have downgrade the phone and after this i can edit APN, end works well, but i can not send SMS, firmware is 0003 and phone works except sms. please help me i did everything step by step without any errors

I have the 822 and the latest access point update fixed the problem I had with mms. The update was released 2 days ago.

i can not find in the windows market this app (access point ) or this app in nokia store . but internet or mms is not problem for me, i have downgraded firmware but i can not send sms

For people who is having "SMS sending issues" even after downgrading the firmware.....DO NOT FORGET TO "RESET YOUR PHONE" after successfully finishing the downgrade process

Settings-->about phone -->reset your phone

Be advised... This app is by Nokia and cannot be uninstalled. The latest update did the trick. Make sure you have your apn and mms settings right.

Hi Strekozzel,

I'm another one of the troubled souls with a Black Nokia 822 (using in India). While 3G works fine for me; i'm unable to send any text messages. Looking at all the success the guys are having with flashing their phones; i'm about ready to flash the phone myself.

I'm bit of a novice and not much into the technical aspect of phones. Hence, do you any link with step by step process for getting this done by myself.

Download the Access Point app > Go to settings and you will see it there > Get the APN/mms settings from your provider > input settings in each corresponding place.

haah!! tried like a thousand times to flash but no help... then checked under devices it showed the phone with exclamation mark.. Troubleshooted it got the drivers and now its flashin!!! What a relief ..I was frustated as hell!!
