Lumia 830 connected by USB to Windows 10 fails

I recently upgraded my Surface Pro3 to Windows 10. I was immediately disappointed by how many things did no work but I was patient and things have come around except the fact that my brand new Lumia 830 doesn't work with Windows 10. The device is detected and reads as a Lumia 830 but I can no longer access the phone through explorer and I cannot sync or manipulate content on the phone or SD card. Please do not reply with the standard , reset the phone change USB cable etc.. this is not the problem, I have checked all the basics.

Any one else having this problem?

Reinstall the driver
make sure your phone is unlocked
+ what else issues do you have with Windows 10?
