Lumia 920 how to recognise as Mass Storage Device No Zune Driver In Registry

Hi Guys

I have a lumia 920 and want it to be recognised in windows 7 as a mass storage device it is already seen so can sync no problem "but" when i look through all the forums it says install zune search in registry and change certain things relating to zunedriver. However none of what is mentioned in any forum is in my registry can anyone enlighten me as to why this is. Is it because it doesnt have a memory card. I also have the same issue with my lumia 925.

Zune is not used for Windows Phone 8/8.1. You'll need the Windows Phone App for Desktop. Windows Phone app for desktop | Windows Phone (United States)

Connect the phone to the PC and you'll be able to drag and drop files from Explorer. It's plug and play.
