lumia vs non lumia devices?

What features are non Lumina devices missing compared to lumia devices? The camera apps are obvious, but what else? I'm upgrading from a 920 and thinking of going with either the m8, 1520 or 830.

Technically, unfortunately non Lumia has here apps. Why Nokia did that and devalued the Lumia phones Idk.
You may as well just get the 830 or 1520

That's half of the equation. You also need to look at the features/apps the others have that Lumias don't to know if you will be better or worse off.

My experience with an HTC device made me regret not getting a Lumia. The ton of exclusive apps, updates, etc. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything anymore.

My advice, stick with Lumia!
